Principal
John joined JMB in 1995 and has worked in capital markets, financial reporting and accounting. John is a graduate of Illinois State University, has an MBA degree in Finance and is a Certified Public Accountant.
Over the last 20 years, John has closed loans for all types of commercial real estate properties from $3 million to $575 million with a diverse range of financing structures, including first mortgages, construction loans, mezzanine debt and equity. He has developed close relationships with a stable of national and regional banks, life insurance companies, private debt funds and CMBS lenders that provide quick responses and assurance of execution. He is experienced in negotiating well-structured loan documents which allow the borrower to maintain flexibility and keep the borrower protected.

Julie joined JMB Realty Corporation in 1987 and JMB Financial Advisors in 2005. Julie graduated from University of Wisconsin – Madison with a BBA in accounting and has an MBA from the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University.
Since joining JMB Financial Advisors, Julie has closed loans for all types of commercial real estate properties from $2 million to $310 million with a diverse range of financing structures, including first mortgages, construction loans, mezzanine debt and equity. Leveraging her close relationships with national and regional banks, life insurance companies, private debt funds and CMBS lenders, she can assure the borrower is placed with the right debt structure and certainty of execution.

Liz joined JMB in 1990 and has worked in asset management, loan modifications/workouts and capital markets. Liz is a graduate of the Indiana University Kelley School of Business and is a Certified Public Accountant.
Over the last 30 years, Liz has negotiated and closed transactions for all classes of commercial real estate properties from $10 million to $450 million with a diverse range of financing structures, including first mortgages, construction loans, mezzanine debt, preferred equity, and traditional equity. She has developed close relationships with multiple banks, life insurance companies, private debt funds and CMBS lenders that provide assurance of execution. Liz is experienced in negotiating and crafting loan documents which allow the borrower to execute their business plan, maintain flexibility and keep the borrower and sponsor protected, all the while respecting the lenders needs as well. She has extensive expertise in negotiating loan modifications/workouts and deal re-structuring.
